Ingredients
- 375g/13oz self-raising flour, sifted
- 50g/1¾oz cocoa powder, sifted
- 325g/11½oz caster sugar
- 4 free-range eggs, beaten
- 375ml/13fl oz full-fat milk
- 250g/9oz unsalted butter, melted
- 200g/7oz dark chocolate, melted
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 250g/9oz soured cream
- 400g/14oz milk chocolate, melted
- 2 tsp black sea salt flakes
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Grease and line two 20cm/8in round cake tins with baking paper.
- Place the flour, cocoa, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, melted dark chocolate and vanilla in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
