Pecan Pie Bread Pudding without the crust!

Ingredients :

  • 1 (16 oz) loaf day old French bread
  • 2 and ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 and ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecan, chopped

Directions :

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. Cube bread the place in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, half & half, sugar, salt, and vanilla to eggs; whisk. Pour over bread
